| Short First Attempt Movie | This is a quickly made sample of what's to come. It runs at 24 fps which looks reasonable when displayed. There are no animals and there's only an incomplete seaweed, but it's a start. It's also using a broken ground shader, which has since been changed. This shows the first 18 seconds of the movie, since that's the most interesting part without there being anything moving in the environment. |
| Short Better Movie | This is a more polished short similar to the one above. The seaweed has been completed, the ground has been fixed, and shadows added. Rendering time has gone up far more than I expected from adding these improvements. It takes roughly twelve times longer to render one frame. Therefore, this one is much shorter than the above one. These 3.5 seconds of video took three hours to render. |

| Fish and Jellyfish Closeup Motion | Close up movie of the motion of the fish and jellyfish. Put your MPEG player into loop will allow you to watch the motion better. |

| Final Movie | I expanded the screen size to 250x250 which allows the viewer to see things better. Unfortunately, MPEG compression seems to have left a lot of artifacts, so I've included some good quality stills as well. I also adjusted the lighting by adding point light source at the camera location which is supposed to give the illusion of the diver having a light. Attempts to use a spotlight just didn't look right especially with the fog. The film is exactly 60 seconds long and runs at 24fps making use of 1440 frames. It took roughly 40 hours of rendering time. |
