My CS184 Final Project Page
I put together this movie during the Spring 2000 semester offering of
the class taught by Prof. Brian Barsky, as a six-week final assignment. The class homepage for the
current semester's offering can be found here.
Project consists of a 1 minute long MPEG-1 movie of an "underwater" scene.
Development Software Used:
- Rendering:BMRT 2.5.0.7 (final deliverable) and 2.5.0.4 (deliverables 1 and 2)
- Modeling: procedurally using g++ 2.95.2 running on Debian/GNU Linux 2.1
- Image Conversion: ImageMagick (convert) 4.0.4 for going from TIF to PPM
- MPEG Construction: Berkeley MPEG-1 Encoder
